Uncompleted Thoughts

A few future topics that may be fleshed out as I go on (in no particular order).

  • The relationship of things which are desired and must be put off for now as opposed to forever, making those things more difficult to resist the closer they are to becoming positive in our lives. Does the proximity of a bad choice to a good choice make it seem “less bad,” and does that explain why evil may have interest in twisting good.

  • Running away from the material world as opposed to being in the world can often result in ignorance or rejection of the material worlds real impact on our lives.

  • Crypto currency is inherently useless as it attempts to function as both a currency and an investment asset, the defining features of which are inherently in conflict (universality, stability, and protection as opposed to instability and capacity for value production).

  • Three layers of truth seeking - truth, truth specialists, and the general public. The most important thing to remember is that any truth specialist is replaceable, the truth is not.

    • You are not the truth that you espouse, our lack of perfection often makes marginal truth less relevant than the marginal falsehoods we bring with us.
  • Many confuse the severity of an action lied about to be in sync to the severity of having lied about it in the first place. This is incorrect as the seriousness of the impact of the lie is more problematic than the objective factors of the lie itself.

  • If a church consistently requires the casting out of demons, it may be important to consider why your constituency is so constantly attacked.

  • Sola Scriptura is violated by the necessary extra-biblical inspiration that is required to construct the Bible itself.

  • Do not go quietly into that goodnight, proceed with noise into the light.

  • Much distaste for AI has nothing to do with a genuine desire to retain “creativity” in people, but is more about the protection of a paycheck by gatekeeping creativity behind a wall of glorified skill trees.

  • Black culture is the worst thing that has happened to the culture of blacks in the United States and is an end product of racism in America.

  • There are many reasons people run away from being “other,” but there are also reasons people run towards it without realizing. This can be exemplified by analysis of the song Labour by Paris Paloma.

  • In respect to personal health, your body is not your own and you have obligations beyond your own personal goals.

  • AI can in many cases be treated like a human brain by not requiring ever increasing precision or accuracy in an attempt to reach perfection, but rather by requiring citation and iteration.

  • Physical healing does not come with faith, healing comes with faith when a person’s faith requires their healing for it’s own purposes.

  • Internal healing does not come with faith, this healing comes with a person’s realization that their faith demands their healing. Sometimes flesh must be taken to remove necrosis.

  • What you fear, what you hope, and what you love. The first two will change and will be found regardless, the last is happening right now, stick with that.

  • Two separate materials together often require considerably more effort & gentleness to operate than two items cut from the same cloth. - Continued from the thought process regarding the word Sonder.

  • Biblically proscribed behaviors vs items of personal conviction and how the confusion between these items is the basis for much of the church’s internal and external struggles.

  • Goals, wishes, and desires are as fine glassware, the risk of shattering them is inherent in the attempt to make use of them.

  • The Stimulus, Recovery, and Adaptation curve (SRA) in physical training and it’s success being based on the different natures of stimulus, response, and time.

  • Most goals are irrational in there specificity and often require irrational weight to be given to them for their own sake, this is acceptable.
